A bright and fearless individual is needed as an Administrative Assistant for an extremely busy Executive Director/Principal of a growing Charter School in the Glassell Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.
<br>

Job Function: Perform general administrative and clerical work of a moderate to difficult nature and perform related secretarial and receptionist work as assigned
<br>
<br>
Necessary Skills/Traits:
<br>
• Knowledge and use of computers, especially word processing and spread sheet programs (MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint) and e-mail systems
<br>
• Experience with QuickBooks and intimate knowledge of budgets
<br>
• Superior organizational skills – being organized should be a way of life!
<br>
• Ability to exercise tact and discretion in handling a variety of confidential information
<br>
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
<br>
• Works effectively with interruptions and simultaneous tasks while under pressure of deadlines
<br>
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a complex, multi-tasking and challenging environment
<br>
• A team player who works closely with others and who is flexible in dealing with changing priorities
<br>
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail
<br>
• Is a self-reliant individual who synthesizes his/her knowledge of practice operations in order to problem-solve, prioritize and facilitate complex transactions in the course of his/her daily activities

• Ability to make sound decisions in urgent situations
<br>
• Excellent demonstrated attendance and reliability
<br>
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is highly desirable
