Artists from around the world, working in diverse mediums, are invited to submit their creative interpretations of peace. Their collective vision will be unveiled September 21, 2010 at a press event at Gallery 9 in Los Angeles, followed by an opening reception on Saturday, September 25. The exhibit will subsequently travel to San Francisco and New York in conjunction with a simultaneous online exhibition.

Summary:

Design and produce high quality embroidered designs and logos for various types of garments. Handle call-in and walk-in prospects and customers in a courteous and professional manner. Demonstrate a professional image of the EmbroidMe brand at all times.
<br>

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Design files for embroidery on garments.
<br>
<br>
Operate embroidery machines using standard safety procedures.
<br>
<br>
Identify correct hoop sizes and proper backing, needles and thread to be used for each job.
<br>
<br>
Output digitized files onto floppy disk for production on embroidery machines.
<br>
<br>
Input digitized files from floppy disks onto embroidery machines and properly designate color sequences for each individual design.
<br>
<br>
Operate a heat press using standard safety procedures.
<br>
<br>
Maintain machinery in good working order.
<br>
<br>
Greet customers and answer phones in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
<br>
<br>
Obtain at least 50% down payment and payment in full upon completion with every order.
<br>
Accurately complete production forms, quotes, WIPs and invoices.
<br>
Assist in operating and managing the store when needed.
<br>
Keep a running inventory of all stock and supplies.
<br>
Maintain an organized, clean and professional store appearance at all times.
<br>

Complete EmbroidMe in store training utilizing the Operations Manual.
<br>
<br>
