Requirements:

The Network/Systems Engineer plans, designs, develops, and troubleshoots local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) to maximize availability of all network delivered services. In addition, the Network/Systems Engineer coordinates and performs installs, monitoring, maintenance, documentation, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. This individual resolves all network service requests and problems promptly, courteously, and accurately, and provides end-user training where required.

The Network/Systems Engineer has the additional shared responsibility of system administration for institution application servers, which include Microsoft Server 2003 and Apple 10.X. We also have small Red Hat & Slackware Linux presence.

<br>
Position Requirements
<br>
<br>
• Computer science, Information Systems related degree
<br>
• 3 years of network related experience.
<br>
• Experience with HP Procurve products desired (but not required)
<br>
• Proven network design, implementation, testing, and documentation experience.
<br>
• Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
<br>
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
<br>
<br>
Work Conditions
<br>
<br>
• On-call availability.
<br>
• Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
<br>
• Some work activities in closeted and outdoor areas.

<![CDATA[One of TFG's Fortune 500 clients is looking for a Weblogic Administrator for a 3 month CONTRACT TO HIRE Role.
<br>
Roles and Responsibilities:
<br>
• Installation, Configuration, Administration and Performance tuning of WebLogic/JBoss Servers and clusters.
<br>
• Experience in deploying applications in Domain and clustered environments.
<br>
• Apply patches and maintain the WebLogic/JBoss servers.
<br>
• Experience in configuring Node manager to administer the Managed servers.
<br>
• Experience in performance tuning of JVM heap size, garbage collections, Java stack and Native thread and production performance.
<br>
• Experience in troubleshooting issues like server hang, application deadlock, out of memory and high CPU.
<br>
• Troubleshooting routine product issues independently (Incident Tracking and Resolution).
<br>
• Develop, facilitate and maintain best of breed product support tools including run books, monitoring, and knowledge bases to aid in the product support process.
<br>
• Act as the primary business liaison to the business segment, through facilitating communication between Development, QA, Product Management, Technical Operations and Segment business leaders on new product releases, technical outages, and routine maintenances (hosting moves).
<br>
• Effective communication and presentation to key business stakeholders are instrumental.
<br>
• Ability to work on own to complete tasks or projects with little or no supervision.
<br>
<br>
Required Skills:
<br>
• Must have at least 5 years experience in WebLogic administration.
<br>
• Must have experience in JBoss administration
<br>
• UNIX proficiency (Linux and/or Solaris)
<br>
• WebLogic Application Server (version 8.x, 9.x and 10.x)
<br>
• JBoss Application Server
<br>
• Scripting ability (bash, ksh, perl, etc…)
<br>
• J2EE application support
<br>
• Apache web server support
<br>
• Apache ANT
<br>
• Familiarity with Messaging, Load balancer, BIG-IP
<br>
