Vintage Bicycle. Perfect for riding around during South by Southwest!!!

Couldn't tell you how old it is unfortunately, but I'm told that it's "vintage." Then again, everyone seems to claim that now. At least when you're riding around town everyone will give you street cred for such a slick vintage bike. The brand is called "Obsession." Pretty hot, right?

It's probably intended for women since it's on the small side, but I'm 5'10'' and put the seat up and was able to ride it fine. Could be ridden by men or women, as long as you're ok with a white bike with a splash of pink.

Bought this bike on Craigslist 5 months ago, used it intermittently, now got another bike and don't need this one anymore.

The back brake doesn't work so well but the front one works great, so as long as you're not speeding down fast hills, you should be fine. Or you can invest in getting it fixed.
This baby has down tube shifters (as opposed to handlebar shifters), so you'll need to be comfortable with that.

Bike is located in Cherrywood neighborhood of East Austin (78722 zip code). If you're interested you'll have to come look at the bike in Cherrywood (and eventually purchase?). Unfortunately I don't have time to drive it around town to prospective buyers.

Thanks!!

You can view more pictures of the bike at higher resolution here: https://rcpt.yousendit.com/834338292/c24a1a5d4a5c7e56f92b1644b1f54af6

I am selling my 2006 Trek 1000 Road Bike and Trainer. The bike is in amazing shape. I am only selling it because I am a single parent and work full time and never have time to ride it. I would rather sell it so someone else could enjoy it than for it to collect dust. I believe the frame is 56c but I am not 100 percent sure. It has clipless pedals and upgraded front and rear derailleurs to Shimano Ultegra. It also includes a Cat Eye computer to monitor speed and distance. I have mounted a bottle holder on the seat post which holds two additional water bottles. I will also include the shoes if they are your size.

It also includes a Blackburn Trainer and Block. The trainer has three levels of difficulty and is perfect for indoor rides when the weather is too hot, cold or raining.

54 inch frame
Trek aluminum frame
Shimano Ultegra Front and Rear Derailleur (upgrade from stock)
Shimano Brake lines and levers
Shimano Clipless Pedals
Bontrager wheels

Accessories:
Cat Eye Computer
Seatpost attachment to carry 2 extra water bottles
Seatpost bag that holds patch kit, extra tube and other objects

Also comes with:
Blackburn Indoor Trainer
Training Block (for front wheel while using the trainer)
Blackburn Air pump

Let me know if you have any questions. I am selling a Cervelo Soloist in good condition. This is the aluminum frame, with an all Ultegra drivetrain, except for the crankset which is an FSA of equal value. The bike was purchased and has mostly been serviced in Ohio. I have all of the receipts. It was never crashed but has a small scuff on the saddle and a few scrapes on the left brake hood and lever from being transported in the back of my car. These can both be seen in the pictures. It was recently tuned up and has practically brand new tires and chain (less than 200 miles.) The clipless pedals (one-sided, regular SPD) and wireless computer can be included for an additional $50 and I have a set of clip-on aerobars that can also be included. The reason I am selling is because I need a more practical bike for college. This bike is a great crit and/or time trial bike. I can deliver anywhere in the city. I may consider a partial trade for a complete set of 105 / ultegra or equivelent components. I will consider any offer other than mountain bikes.

For sale I have a set of Vuelta XRP Team Sl mountain wheelset. This wheelset is very VERY light. 1556 grams to be exact. The wheels will come with a cassette, rotors, and for some extra $, I'll give ya two very new Larsen TT tires. The wheels are clean and have been lubed and will be lubed again before your purchase. I'm selling these because I am upgrading to some even lighter wheels. These came with my Motobecane about 3 months ago and have not even seen 50 miles. The front wheel is already tubeless and I can keep it that way for some extra $. It has Stan's sealant with a Stan's rim strip in it and has held the same air for more than 2 months. The rear wheel is ready for tubeless it just needs a valve and some sealant. The cassette is very clean and hasn't lost any teeth.
