Instead of taxing the people more to pay for these stupid programs that DO NOT WORK, how about instead of the government taking over big business, they require that big corporations that have been outsourcing to other countries for their OWN profit, have to keep those jobs here in the country for AMERICANS. Such as Customer support for Dell, Microsoft, and almost any other tech company where you call and get some one in the Philipines or India or some BS. If that was to happen, it would create more jobs here in the country, therefore allowing more people to help buy things (not to mention that most people would then be able to afford their OWN healthcare plans.) The problem is that everyone wants to rely on the Government to save them, instead of getting off of their lazy asses to do something themselves. Personally, I'm tired of having to work at jobs like McDonald's and Burger King because I can't get hired on anywhere else due to the economy. I also feel that Marijuana should be decriminalized (at the very least) because all that is happening is we spend TONS of tax money (especially here in R.R.) on trying to arrest harmess potheads. I'd sooner buy a car made in China built with lead, mercury, asbestos, and Chinese drywall with a clear coat made of DDT before I would buy another American made car. I would actually feel safer in the Chinese car held together with glue, Hello Kitty stickers, and sticky rice. My Malibu had problems keeping the coolant level up and I had no idea where it was going. I took it to a "master mechanic" who told me what was wrong with it (failing manifold gasket leak and gunk build up caused by DEX-COOL coolant...a GM product) and that it would cost about $900 and he made that diagnosis WITHOUT even opening the hood. He works on that problem every week and told me to google it and look under the hood for myself and get a second opinion cuz he loves to be proven right. He said it was a known defect but there's no recall because it's not safety related just like the screwy AC switch ....a problem that i experienced but had not even mentioned to him. In the early 90's my parents had a Pontiac Grand Am with the peeling paint issue because they stopped using a separate primer coat at one factory. ....A problem they let roll for 5 years before changing the painting procedure. In the mid 90s my parents had a suburban with that ever-elongating stretchable map holder in the sun visor. GM kept that f-ed up map holder in GM vehicles for 8 years. Who could forget the cheap glue they used to use to put up the fabric headliner that would bubble up and fall making the interior of your car look like some arab sheik's desert tent. F... GM. Their unions have made it so quality doesn't matter....because they can't be fired and the company is "too big to fail" no matter how much money they loose peddling their worthless crap. ]]>
