The story shows the harder/violent side of their lives but it also shows the best of who these guys are. As the lead character says, "This just ain't some gangsta flick, this is a real hood movie." Style similar to CITY OF GOD. We're looking for an Editor who knows how to tell a story (emotion, narrative, pacing). We also need the Editor to be familiar with split screen and color correction but, again, for the purpose of telling the story. The look is very authentic as the gang members helped us produce the film. We're working with Final Cut Pro. You could work at our place or your place. The story is based on true events but it is not a documentary. It is based on a screenplay by an award-winning writer. The footage is HD. We have rough cut scenes that we could show you.
