He/She will work in collaboration with the art director to set the quality level of the art to respect the artistic vision of the game. The person will also be in charge of training junior modelers and be the mentor for the team. <br> <br> Responsibilities <br> <br> • Work with Art Director, Game Design and engineering to determine style, look and level of quality for the art <br> • Model environments in high polygon, low polygon and in game resolutions. <br> • Handle technical aspects of environment creation such as pipeline concerns, assets build with optimum efficiency, and creation of advanced shaders and asset integration <br> • Work closely with other art disciplines to determine environment technical specifications <br> <br> Requirements <br> <br> • BA desired and a minimum of 3+ years of industry experience. <br> • At least one title shipped on a next-gen console <br> • Experience in several aspects of videogame art production to include concept work, modeling, texturing, and shading and be highly experienced with 3d max. <br> • Strong understanding of Photoshop and programs such as Zbrush or Mudbox <br> • Strong Traditional Art skill <br> • Solid understanding of computer graphic fundamentals and video game Art production pipelines <br> • Solid understanding of Art fundamentals to include color theory, light, shade and form <br> • Can work in a variety of styles. <br> • Able to meet deliverables and drive your work to completion within specified timelines <br> • Great communication skills both written and verbal <br> • Can work cross functionally in many areas without being constrained by your job function <br> • A Collaborative work ethic <br> <br> Social advantages and work conditions <br> <br> • Competitive basic wage rate <br> • Collective benefit plan including full family coverage for medical, dental and optometric care <br> • Relocation packages offered to candidates from outside the city or country.
