<![CDATA[Ghost Bird is a new award-winning feature documentary exploring the rediscovery of the Ivory-billed woodpecker, our uneasy relationship with nature, and the uncertainty of our place within it. This spring, the film begins its 2010 Biodiversity Benefit Tour. <br> <br> The filmmaker is seeking Environmental Outreach Coordinators assigned to regions to orchestrate community screenings hosted by environmental organizations across North America. Work at home communicating with environmental non-profits to coordinate this special event which launches Endangered Species Day, May 21st. Gain valuable experience learning about and participating in the vanguard of cutting-edge film distribution being forged by documentaries like "The End of The Line," and "King Corn." <br> <br> Must be equally proficient in written and verbal communication, possess excellent organizational skills, have a head for research, and enjoy being self-directed. <br> An interest or background in environmental/conservation work is very helpful but not required. <br> <br> Independent contractor work is on commission for about four months. <br> Must be able to place and receive phone calls at your own expense during the business hours of your assigned territory. <br> Pay is $50 commission per screening. Licensing fee per screening is $150 which includes a $50 donation to a major endangered species non-profit (it is a three way split between you, the film and a major non-profit). <br> <br> Available remaining territories: Canada - West (BC, AB, SK, MB), East (ON, QC, NL).
