Kids have a special place in my heart. I am very caring , loving and understand kids very well as I am a mother too!

I have vast experience in babysitting children from newborn to grown-up kids! Schooled and trained from a US-standard school, I can very well speak English and can teach your kids too. Having graduated from college with a degree in CHILD PSYCHOLOGY, I can help in your child's developmental skills (interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence) and guide your children in accordance with their age, character and level of development. These are very important factors so that a child can easily adapt to different stimulus in his/her environment.

Do you want to make your work load lighter? I am the one you need! I can do some LIGHT HOUSEHOLD CHORES for you. If you need someone to drop your kids and pick them up from school, no worries I can do that! Also, after dropping your kids to school, I can do housekeeping for you at no extra charge. Cleaning / tidying up the house, doing errands/ groceries, help you pay your bills on time, post your mails, are just some of the many things I will do to maximize my time when I am with you. After all those house work, I will pick up your kids from school and bring them home. While home, I will take care of them and will make sure that they get same loving care like they would from their parents! While you are still away, I can feed them, give them bath, help them with their homeworks, read to them and can also take them to parks/museums/birthday parties/ any other social gatherings.

Cleanliness and orderliness are of paramount importance to me. I am very meticulous when it comes to keeping the house immaculately clean for the children, for their physical well-being.

My expertise in taking care of newborns is vast. Newborn nutrition, growth and development, health, safety, preventing common problems, feeding, bathing are just some of the things I am fully aware of. I have worked for 5-star hotels too and very well trained and efficient in housekeeping. No time wasting for me. I will maximize my time whenever I am with you.

Parents of children and other people whom I worked for seem to really like me because of my honesty and being very affectionate and caring to their kids. I will treat your little one like my own. You don't have to worry.

With regards to my availability, I can babysit on Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays, FULL TIME .

I can come for an interview or trial babysitting anytime convenient. I am quite flexible with timings. Please let me know if you need more details and information about me. I hope to be of help to your children and your family. Looking forward to hear from you soon!

Thank you so much!

I'm a pro level multi-instrumentalist, heavily on Saxophones & EWI, Keyboard, Guitar, Drums and Bass. I also use MC-808's and SP-555.

My aim is to start an electronic/semi-acoustic Acid-jazz band in style of Morten Schantz, Jamiroquai (Their old stuff), Nils Landgren & Funk Unit, Jojo Mayer, Alex Argento and the Brecker Bros.(Some elements of Fusion/Rock OK)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRuJz8fY6Js
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXyB12Okt68&feature=related
http://www.myspace.com/alexargento (Check out the EGO Medley, first segment)

What I would like to have in this band is foremost some "gear-head" keyboardist, with good jazz-voicing and chops. Would be able to do "unison" melodies with other instruments as well. You should be able to trigger samples and loops as well coming up with new interesting ways to sound cool. Not only do I ask for E-pianos or regular sound. More electronic oldschool single lead in the sound like moogs.

The drummer, should be technical ofcourse, on time, groovy and given the opportunity to solo, break-beats. I would think that the songs could have a mix approach from latin to drum'n'bass flavor sometimes. But for now, heavy cool funky drums. There will be times we will have to play a "unison" solo with all the instruments. That will be the highlight of some songs. A good team-player and versatile. Real drums or V-drums, whatever feels good for you.

Guitarists are like flies close to dogshit. They circle around to find the best piece or they circling around all over the place. If I would play saxophone in the band, guitarist could do that too, imagine Mike Stern and Michael Brecker together, dubbing melodies. Or even better, if the keyboard player just plays pads, we will need a guitarist to "scratch" the guitar. The guitarist should be comfortable in both grooving and soloing and playing unison. Should not be afraid to experiment with new interesting sounds. We don't want the standard stuff! This is our "playground!"

Bass player is the fundamental glue together with the drums. You should be able to pick up cool grooves, syncopicate beats together with the drummer and "harmonize" with the chord-structure of the keyboard player and the guitarist. Would be able to play certain lines in unison with the rest of the band as well. Your blend of Funk-bass and latin is a welcome. Could also be able to use some effects like ring-modulator pedal for those cool drum'n'bass passages. 3 playing-style are essential, finger, slap and tap! (synthbass keyboard players are also welcomed!)

"beat+maker", or "noise" person. You could be a DJ or a sample-artist, to create a supportive "drive" to the drummer. You will be able to manipulate sound, even to be able to "sample" us live and "chop-us up"! You will be in charge of the general mix, plus, you will be able to be creative with filter-sweeps, FXs, triggering samples and loops. You will supply us with interesting beats and loops that we can create ideas from. The drummer must be tight to play together with a backing track like that. Your job is to find cool "percussive" loops that could enhance the feeling that we have a band of percussionists. You could also be a "laptop" user of Ableton LIVE for this purpose as well. Gear that works well could be MC-808's, Korg ES1X etc. You could build up the imitation of a VINYL record that you could scratch around with as well. This position requires good "taste" and timing.
The noise person will also make sure that there are no "dead-spots" between each song, clearing up space like a solo-number meanwhile the keyboard player is looking for his next preset. I wouldn/t mind having a scratch-artist as well.

A musical "SOUND-ENGINEER". You will be the Sound-Engineer and have good knowledge of mixing in this territory. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uf3fpULe6Ig&feature=related check this clip around 4 minutes. The mixer will be your "instrument".

Additional instrumentalist wanted if possible:

Trombone player
Trumpet player
Tenor Sax
Flute
EWI players
Guest rappers (not vocalists)

All these players must have good phrasing (Jazz style) and good ear.

All people in the band will memorize the songs/grooves without score. In that way we will look professional and we will have more fun on stage.

Now I'm looking for the core members: Keyboardplayer(s) (2 could be nice!), Guitarist, Bass, Drums, DJ & Noise. The core would be 7 members atleast.

The idea could sound like this. Structured written arrangements or Improvised numbers but with a clear groove to give it an impression that it is "rehearsed".

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uf3fpULe6Ig&feature=related (Jojo Mayer, Prohibited Beats)

Write back if you think this is your "shit". =)

Others simply pause in silence for a moment or two. Each folows his or her own Inner Direction.

It is our hope that by taking this time together, wherever we each may be, we will help bring peace and unity to ourselves, out families, communities, and cities.

As a whole, we are not associated with any particular political or religious philosophy or way of Life. We come from many backgrounds with a common vision of peace and good will for all.

As more people participate in a daily, heartfelt moment of silence, surely The Spirit Of Peace will grow and increase among us. US for OKINAWA, a peace action network formed by U.S. and other citizens from around the world living in Japan, is working to raise awareness of the enormous (and unnecessary) environmental destruction U.S. military bases are having on Okinawa. We will also travel to Henoko, Okinawa, where a beautiful bay that is home to the dugong (manatee like gentle sea mammal) is being targeted for inundation for the construction of a new air base. The U.S. military already occupies approximately 20% of Okinawa and has destroyed much of its precious biodiversity. Help us stop it from consuming more by joining us on this awareness-raising trip. Costs are borne by each participant, but being kept to a strict minimum.

Hi;

Thanks for reading my posting.

I'm an English Teacher who's loving his Japanese experience so far.
I'm friendly, easy going, outgoing and well traveled.
I've been in Japan for a few months and am wanting to travel Japan more authentically.
I've enjoyed my trips to various parts of Japan but now want to try something different, more historical, more authentic and definitely more adventurous!

So my plan is to cycle the +-465 Km's over 5 days; which equates to +-90km's a day which is about 7 hours of cycling a day.
Yes; it will be somewhat tough for those that arent very fit but even if you arent very fit it's not too difficult to cycle 1km every 5 minutes.
Most of the route is relatively flat.

The plan is to cycle during the day - resting between 12pm - 2pm - and do sight seeing/socializing at night.
After 5 days on the road we'll enjoy one day in Kyoto and then pack our bikes (take off the wheels) and ride the Shinkanzen back to Tokyo.

We can either pre book accommodation (which might be recommendable as it is Golden Week) or we can find ryokans en route.

So for those that are adventurous and like to do things differently Im waiting for your response.
