This position would start with our other normal April positions, but this one is especially difficult and I am advertising it seperately in the hopes that it might resonate with someone compatible. Tokigawa is a small town that until recently was several small villages, so the area is vast despite its small population. The views are beautiful and the nature is clean and refreshing, and the people are so kind and fantastic. Unfortunately the town cannot afford much to pay for ALTs to work in the schools and after JET contracts finish, they are only going to be able to pay for ALTs to work 3 days per week. Thus it would be very difficult for someone to work at this as one's only job and be able to get by well. I am hoping there are people in the area who happen to be free Monday through Wednesday but are otherwise self sufficient, or perhaps those without need for much money but would need visa sponsorship, or other specific situations that might help make this work. The company can provide a rental car and help in finding housing, but the housing would be about 30 minutes outside the town, unfortunately. Candidates should: -be a native English speaker -like working with kids 12 and younger -be able to legally drive in Japan -hold a visa allowing work in Japan or have the documentation necessary to be sponsored -be able to commit for a year under these conditions -show that he or she has read and understood the time frame, requirements, and the text of this entire posting and doesn't just reply to every offer posted on Craigslist. We lose a lot of time following up on these people who don't have real interest and paste the same introductory e-mail into every posting reply.
