<![CDATA[One HP nx5000 laptop with a Pentium M (1.295 GHz ) processor and 512 megs of RAM. Installed a fresh Windows XP Pro with updates. Harddrive is 20 GB, but can be upgraded by buyer rather easily. Screen is somewhat big and in good condition, actually brighter than a MacBook I had recently. Also has a good viewing angle. I mainly (and rarely) used it for watching streaming anime. Features include internal JBL stereo speakers, wireless G adapter, CDRW with DVD reader, USB 2.0, SD card reader, IR port, modem, firewire port, and more. Case is in decent condition, but certainly shows signs of use. Battery may seems to last around 2 hours, but probably varies depending on what is being done. Note: There is no door on the battery slot. English keyboard and Operating System. I can meet at or near a station on the Yamanote or Keihan Tohoku lines. Closer to Shinagawa is better. And it won't seem to accept an adapter to use a Memory Stick Duo size card, only wanting a full sized card... I got it last summer for work because of it's business-look and acceptance as a business notebook but I decided to go a different direction this year. It came with vista basic OEM but I'll include a Win7 Pro English 64-bit genuine retail disc (which means you reuse/ resell it) and clearly you can easily resell it for 10000yen or more for the next 1-2 years or reuse the license on another computer. (with genuine product seal) Let's say you find your own strategy - like install your own OS and sell off the Win7 disc. I wouldn't mind selling the laptop without Win7 but I wouldn't consider selling Win7 alone because it could make selling my vista laptop harder. This computer is Win XP mode compatible.
