Bud
Austin is a silversmith and engraver. He has traveled to
many parts of the US, working flea markets. Many times he
stays on the road for six months or more at a time, enjoying
the traveling and freedom that only the open road has to
offer. His market money has always paid the way.
Some
times he puts his skilled trades away and just sells "flea
market stuff" depending on the market and time of year.
Either way it is a win-win adventure! Bud currently lives in
North Central Florida (when he is home!)
Back in the early 80’s, Bud was fed up
with a going-nowhere job. Don’t get me wrong, the job was
well respected and the money was enough; he was a classroom
teacher.
But after a few years, he found himself
staring out the classroom windows at the real world. He wanted
to travel. He had seen many people wait until it was too late
to start living the good life. Many fell into tragic endings,
including his own parents.
There had to be a way
to break out. Well there was, and he found it.
